Yes they should be able to have technology. In some ways it affects people negatively if they abuse the use of it but if they use it in a good way they should be able to use it.
Social media has connected the world in ways nothing else could have. Teenagers, usually, take advantage of that kind of power. I think that social media does negatively effect our youth because they are so used to it- many have grown so attached to it, they cannot live without it.
